Abstract From the Canadian patent

Abstract, Room temperature-storable, heat-curable organopolysiloxane compositions which comprise silicon-bonded vinyl radicals, silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms, a platinum-type compound and characterized by an unsaturated hydrocarbon compound of the conjugated ene-yne type provide a release surface for tacky substances when coated onto the surface of a base material and heated even, mildly. The release surface possesses a time-stable release ability, particularly for pressure sensitive adhesive bearing articles such as tapes and labels.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted February 2, 1988. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended February 2, 2005.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
