Abstract From the Canadian patent

14, ABSTRACT:, "NMR tomography apparatus." The invention relates to an NMR tomography apparatus which comprises, in addition to coil systems for generating a magnetic field which linearly varies in space, at least one further coil system for generating a magnetic field which varies non-linearly in space so that a locally non-constant gradient of the magnetic field is obtained. The variation of the spatial resolution is thus the same as that of the gradient of the magnetic field.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 26, 1988. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 26, 2005.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
