Abstract From the Canadian patent

A propeller engine system with components for generating electric power within a rotatable hub is disclosed. The components include a shaft extending into the hub so that the hub and shaft are differentially rotatable. Magnetic means are fixed to the shaft and windin means are fixed to the hub so that either rotation of the rotor shaft or hub induces an electric current in the winding means.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 5, 1988. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 5, 2005.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
