Abstract From the Canadian patent

An invention is disclosed in which a signal indicating a rate of fuel flow desired for a gas turbine engine is bounded between limits imposed by maximaland minimal-fuel rates allowed under the current operating conditions of the engine and between limits imposed by maximal- and minimal-accelarations allowed under the same operating conditions. The fuel rate limits are constantly modified by feedback information about the actual acceleration experienced by the engine. this feedback information about acceleration is obtained without directly measuring acceleration itself.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted September 23, 1986. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended September 23, 2003.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
