Abstract From the Canadian patent

CANADIAN 421,206, Abstract of the Disclosure A system for predicting ventricular tachycardia from electrocardiograph input waveforms. A first means 170A generates a signal representative of the input waveforms exceeding a preselected level. A second filter means 170B has its gain controlled responsive to the first means output signal, and provides an output responsive to said input waveforms. Ventricular tachycardia is then predicted 200, 210 220 responsive, to the second filter means output. In one embodiment the input waveforms are digitized 120 prior to processing by the first and second means 170A 170B. In, another embodiment, the input waveforms are signal averaged 150 prior to …

Why it's free to use

  • Granted August 19, 1986. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended August 19, 2003.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
