An improved seed and/or fertilizer distributor of the air-seeder type having a sealed hopper and having pressure equalising means between the hopper and a chamber in which is disposed a metering device arranged to have the same pressure on the intake as on the outlet side, said metering device feeding into a duct opening to the air stream which conveys the seed and/or fertilizer.
