Abstract From the Canadian patent

An improved circuit arrangement is described which is used with a buoyant device for indicating a disturbance to the quiescent level of a body of water. The circuit arrangement includes an encoder and transmitter which are supported by the device and which are adapted for transmitting encoded information in accordance with a predetermined pulse code to a remote receiver and alarm. Transmission of the encoded signal is terminated after a predetermined interval of time. The encoder and transmitter are coupled in the circuit for enhancing the turn off of a bistable switching circuit.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted July 8, 1986. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 8, 2003.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
