20-, Abstract of the Disclosure, Method and Apparatus for Making Braided Reinforced Hose, A method and apparatus is provided for manufacturing a reinforced elastomeric hose. Other reinforced hoses are prepared in individual stations for particular parts of the reinforced hose consequently requiring large amounts of manufacturing floor space. Still other hoses that are made while utilizing small amounts of floor space do not provide a high strength braided reinforcement member. A reinforced hose is produced by continuously braiding a tubular reinforcement member on a mandrel progressively removing the reinforcement member from the mandrel, and at approximately the same axial location …
