Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention relates to a device for growing bacteria from an initial population to a predetermined population the device, including a medium for such growth and a means for obtaining a predetermined population for inoculation of the medium. The invention also relates to a wand for picking up a predetermined quantity of bacteria and a method, of using the wand.
