Abstract From the Canadian patent

A log-feeding apparatus comprises at least three feed rollers mounted on feed arms the movement, of which, for moving the feed rollers is determined, by means of a linkage system coupled to the feed arms. The linkage system is actuated by means of a pistoncylinder device having a cylinder pivotally mounted at its one end on a shaft. The shaft is journalled in a displaceable slide for actuating the linkage system without simultaneously activating the piston-cylinder device.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted December 3, 1985. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended December 3, 2002.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
