A connector member for joining a channel-section member e.g. a channel-section cross-rail in a suspended ceiling structure to a member extending transversely e.g. a channel section main grid member. The connector member tapers in plan from its front end which is provided with a connector portion for engaging with the transversely-extending member. At the front of each side the connector member has a notch which engages the side walls of the channel member when the tapering side portions are inserted through horizontally extending slots in the channel side walls.
