Abstract From the Canadian patent

An improved battery case is disclosed comprising an upper battery case position interconnected to a lower battery case portion. A corner support having a projection extends upwardly from each of the corners of the upper battery case portion. The projections interlock with recesses disposed in a bottom wall of the lower battery case portion of an adjacent battery enabling the interlocked stacking of a plurality of batteries. The upper battery case portion receives a carrying handle which is movable between a retracted position and an extended carrying position.
