Abstract:, A model of an industrial plant is constructed with a mathematical procedure known as the Kalman filter. The presumed value or predictive value of a certain parameter of a plant is compared with the actually-measured value of the parameter, and the state transition matrix and drive matrix of the Kalman filter are corrected. When it is difficult actually to measure a parameter that is a direct controlled object, the model is corrected by utilizing another parameter whose actual measurement value is easily obtained. When the plant has a feedback control system based on the proportional-plus-integral control the gain, of the system is corrected in correspondence with the corrections …

Why it's free to use
- Granted July 30, 1985. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 30, 2002.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
