Abstract From the Canadian patent

A process for improving the activity of tellurium containing metal oxide catalysts useful as catalysts for oxidation, ammoxidation or oxidative dehydrogenation of organic compounds by heating the catalysts together with a tellurium containing solid to a temperature up to about 900°C in a gaseous atmosphere. The process can be effectively applied not only to deteriorated or spent catalysts the activity of which has been deteriorated due to use for a long period of time, but also to fresh catalysts. The tellurium containing solid used as an activity improving agent may be a member selected from the group consisting of (i) tellurium; oxides, hydroxides and organic compounds of tellurium; or …

Why it's free to use

  • Granted July 2, 1985. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 2, 2002.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
