Container handlers comprise a plurality of double-acting hydraulic cylinders to effect the various side shift, twist lock, tilt, height adjustment and, spread modes of operation. Separate control valves a hoses, entrained over the mast assembly having the attachment thereon, are required to effect such functions selectively. A programmed electro-hydraulic control circuit reduces the required number of hoses to two and provides a non-complex system which can be operated expeditiously.
