The instant invention is directed to a process for the preparation of glass constructions comprising applying to glass, compositions comprising a) a polyisocyanate component and, b) a polyol component comprising at least one dihydroxy polyester carbonate with a molecular weight of from 800 to 3000 which is a reaction product of hexanediol-(1,6) with .epsilon.-caprolactone and/or .epsilon.-hydroxycaproic acid, in a molar ratio of hexanediol-(1,6) to .epsilon.-caprolactone and/or .epsilon.-hydroxycaproic acid of from 4:1 to 1:3, and diaryl carbonates, which reaction product is optionally present as a mixture with up to 40% by weight, based on the total quantity of said polyol component, of …
