A b s t r a c t, The invention refers to a movable bucket-wheel excavator comprising a lower chassis and a superstructure said super-, structure comprising a discharge arm associated with a discharge conveyor belt and a support for a dredge turntable on which support a dredge arm carrying the bucket-wheel is pivotally linked for being swivelled in height direction. The working range in height direction or such a bucket-wheel excavator is limited by the possible pivotal area or the dredge arm in height direction.
