Abstract From the Canadian patent

D-22,817, A MONOLITHIC ASTABLE OSCILLATOR CIRCUIT by, Christopher R. Huntley, Abstract of the Disclosure First and second NPN transistors are direct connected in an astable multivibrator configuration. Each collector is connected to the positive terminal of a DC power source through series connected diodes. A resistor which is selected to control the amplitude of oscillation is, connected between the collectors. The frequency of oscillation is controlled by a frequency determining component which is connected between the emitters of said transistors. The emitters are connected to current sources.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted February 14, 1984. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended February 14, 2001.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
