Abstract of Disclosure An electrical capacitor has a pair of electrodes which are metallized paper strip electrodes with a, synthetic resin film dielectric between the electrodes. The electrodes and the dielectric are wound in a roll mounted in a casing, and impregnated with dielectric fluid which is a blend of an aromatic hydrocarbon selected from the group consisting of phenyl xylyl ethane mono-, isopropyl biphenyl, and phthalate ester. The use of this blend for a dielectric fluid improves the electrical performance of the capacitor.

Why it's free to use
- Granted January 31, 1984. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 31, 2001.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
