Abstract From the Canadian patent

An accurate frequency to voltage converter for cardiac telemetry systems, in which converter charges are stored in response to selected intervals proportional to the period of an alternating input signal. Linearization of the output voltage as a function of input frequency characteristic is effectively and inexpensively achieved by charging charging and voltage holding capacitors from a substantially constant voltage through a resistance such that capacitor terminal voltage rises as an exponential function of time. The reciprocal function of frequency as a function of period has a similarly shaped characteristic curve and these, function characteristics are effectively combined by the …

Why it's free to use

  • Granted December 14, 1982. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended December 14, 1999.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
