The invention provides a novel accelerator combination for amine-cured epoxy resins. The accelerator combination comprises N-aminoethylpiperazine and an alkanolamine preferably, triethanolamine. Optionally the accelerator combination also, includes piperazine. The presence of the N-aminoethylpiperazine greatly reduces the tendency of the accelerator toward crystallization. The accelerator combination also shows a synergistic effect on the curing rates of epoxy resins.
