Abstract From the Canadian patent

A circuit arrangement provided with two amplifiers having a common input and being operated in push-pull and with a load impedance being connected between their output, is protected against short-circuiting either one of the outputs of the two amplifiers. To that purpose a first d.c. passing circuit is included between the output of the one amplifier and a d.c.-bias point of the other amplifier and a second d.c. passing circuit is included between the output of the other amplifier and a d.c.-bias point of the one amplifier. Not only the two amplifiers but also the load is protected in this way against short-circuiting.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted November 16, 1982. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended November 16, 1999.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
