10.2.1979 1 PHN 9194, ABSTRACT, A diode gun for a camera tube consisting of an anode and a cathode assembled in a cathode supporting bush can very readily be adjusted if the cathode supporting bush and the anode in the non-connected condition are movable radially with respect to each other the emissive, cathode surface and the part of the anode extending perpendicularly to the axis remaining accurately parallel to each other. As a result of this it is possible to cause the central path of the generated electron beam and the gun axis to coincide so that extra correction coils for aligning the electron beam may be omitted.

Why it's free to use
- Granted November 16, 1982. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended November 16, 1999.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
