Compounds having the formula in which, R is 1-4 carbon haloalkyl;, R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and 1-4 carbon alkyl; and, R2 is selected from the group consisting of 2-8 carbon cyanoalkyl, 5-12 carbon cyanoalkylcycloalkyl 5-12, carbon cyanocycloalkyl, 3-6 carbon cyanoalkylalkoxy and, cyanobenzyl;, provided that when R2 is cyanoalkyl R is dibromo-, alkyl, are useful for the protection of crops from thiocarbamate and haloacetanilide herbicidal injury.
