Abstract From the Canadian patent

A device for drawing filamentary polymeric material affords simple and efficient string-up from source to take-up without any operator exposure to moving rollers. Provided is a roller assembly having at least three rollers, at least two of which are motorized. The rollers are spaced from each other in a first position which provides, for passage of filamentary polymeric material in a straight line from a source of supply through space between the initially stationary rollers and thence to a means for winding the filamentary polymeric material into a package.
