A voltage linearization circuit for use with a resistance thermometer device or a thermocouple to produce a nearly linear output signal from a nonlinear input signal. The circuit produces a voltage proportional to the square of the input voltage through the use of operational amplifiers and fieldeffect transistors connected in voltage dividing arrangements, and combines this second order voltage or a reduced magnitude thereof, with the original input voltage to produce a nearly linear output signal.

Why it's free to use
- Granted October 26, 1982. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended October 26, 1999.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
