The invention provides a composition having synergistic physiological activity which comprises a compound of the formula in which R3 represents radicals from known penicillins and a, compound of the formula, in which each of R1 and R2 is an alkyl group or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen atom represent a heterocyclic ring with from 5 to 7 carbon atoms in the ring. The mixtures are useful for the combatting of a broad-spectrum infection.
