The invention relates to a device for the display of data representative of quantities. The device comprises a numbered graduation and a luminous indicator generated directly from digital signals, the indicator being able to assume different positions along said graduation. The device according to the invention facilitates the display of quantities such as reference values, the results of calculations or even of measurement values.
