Abstract From the Canadian patent

A non-dusting relatively coarse particulate material is prepared from a relatively more finely divided material such as a pigment and an organic binder comprising a solid hexahydric alcohol with little or no affinity for water and a melting point within the range of 60 to 200° C. The finely divided material and binder are blended and cast with the aid of an aqueous carrier medium and then heated to form a solid layer which can be broken up into flake-like particles or chunks. These flakes or chunks are not "agglomerated" or "pellitized" in the usual sense of these terms.
