Abstract From the Canadian patent

The specification discloses apiary devices such as, namely, bee escape boards. A bee escape board provides for efficient migration of bees within a period of about 24 hours from a beehive honey super to the brood chamber. The escape board includes a plurality of escape cells which can be in the form of hollow truncated cones, which cells provide for a relatively voluntary migation of bees in contradistinction, to forced removal of bees.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted September 8, 1981. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended September 8, 1998.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
