A process is provided for preparing adhesive repellent coatings. The process includes applying to the surface to be rendered adhesive repellent a mixture of four components. The first is a diorganopolysiloxane having terminal Si-bonded vinyl groups but which is otherwise free of ali-, phatic multiple bonds. The second is an organopolysiloxane having at least 3-Si-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule. The third is a vinylsiloxane platinum complex which is essentially free of halogen. The fourth is a compound which retards or delays the addition of Si-bonded hydrogen to aliphatic multiple bonds at room temperature.
