Abstract From the Canadian patent

The disclosure of this application is directed to compositions of ethylene polymers and at least one organo silane of the formula:, wherein the variables are as subsequently defined; or the partially condensed organo silane formed from at least one organo silane, having the formula above wherein the partial, condensation has taken place by forming the group within the partially condensed silane. The compositions of this invention are characterized by resistivity to water treeing, a term generally used to describe the deterioration of solid dielectric material which is exposed to moisture and an electric field. By reason of long term resistivity to water treeing, due to non-migration of the …

Why it's free to use

  • Granted August 4, 1981. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended August 4, 1998.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
