Abstract From the Canadian patent

An operating procedure whereby a cracking unit is enabled to continue to function when temporarily or permanently deprived of its CO boiler. The isolation of the COboiler is coordinated with the introduction into the catalyst inventory of a CO-oxidation-promoting metal and with increase in regenerator air supply, to bring flue gas CO down to ventable level.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted June 30, 1981. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended June 30, 1998.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
