The invention provides a device for supporting gas turbine engines comprising a base column adapted to be anchored to the ground, a yoke supported by the base column and adapted to locate and be attached to the engine the yoke further being, mounted to pivot together with the engine about an axis of rotation extending at right angles to the centerline of the engine .
