Abstract From the Canadian patent

A switching regulator includes a chopper circuit and a DC-DC converter. A switching signal for use with the chopper circuit is derived from an inverter portion of the DC-DC converter so as not to use an external pulse oscillator. A DC voltage feedback circuit is provided from the output of the DC-DC converter to the chopper circuit so as to stabilize the DC output signal of the DC-DC converter. -i-

Why it's free to use

  • Granted March 10, 1981. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended March 10, 1998.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
