Method for controlling desired redox potential in hydrogen-containing protective gases used in hi high-temperature furnaces in powder-metallurgical processes . A sample of the protective gas is withdrawn from the furnace and the redox potential of the sample measured at the high temperature to produce treated bodies of good quality. Humidifying the gases blowing through the furnace is employed to crase or minimize a deviation of the redox potential of the sample from a predetermined redox potential in oxygen-hydrogen mixture may be obtained by electrolysis of water as function of the measured redox potential and this mixture may be use i for humidification. In this mallner good quality end …

Why it's free to use
- Granted March 3, 1981. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended March 3, 1998.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
