Abstract From the Canadian patent

The hot gas from a coal gasifier is cooled in the gasifier outlet by applying a gas shield along the wall of the outlet, which gas shield cools the wall and the hot gas and which gas shield prevents sticky ash particles from hitting the wall. Upon cooling of the hot gas the ash particles loose their stickiness.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 20, 1981. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 20, 1998.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
