Fiber-containing polyurethane foams are provided which, contain from 0.1 to 10% by weight relative to the finished, foam, of polyolefin fibers containing groups reacting with isocyanates. The foams display an improved behaviour on compression and, in the range of more than 50% of compression, the foams absorb a higher compression stress than foams without reactive polyolefin fibers or containing nonreactive polyolefin fibers.
