No Claude kit for weapons

Claude doesn't help design weapons, ammunition or explosives, so this page has no Reinvent kit. To develop this one, work with a federally licensed manufacturer (many of these items are regulated) and a registered patent attorney or agent, listed on the USPTO roster.

Abstract From the Canadian patent

A thickened water-based, salt-containing explosive composition is provided wherein the sensitising agent comprises a mixture of a soluble fuel such as dimethyl sulphoxide, sugar or formamide and an auxiliary sensitising material such as ethylene glycol mononitrate. The mixture produces a synergism which results in marked improvements in sensitivity in aqueous slurry explosives containing the sensitizer blend.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted November 25, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended November 25, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
