Abstract From the Canadian patent

Improvements to means that provide a seal for covers of suction boxes in paper-making machines are provided by making this seal with blocks of an elastic material which can be positioned as wanted along the suction channels bounded by the dewatering foils that make-up the covers; means are also provided to position and to clamp these blocks.
