An expansible storage reel assembly has a pair of mating hub members which allow ready assembly of a reel as well as adjustability for expansion of the width of the reel. The reel assembly includes a pair of reel end flange members, a spacer member, and the mating pair of hub members which can be releasably locked together to secure the reel flange members to the spacer member.
