Abstract From the Canadian patent

A beverage cooling bath includes a refrigeration evaporator immersed in water for growing ice thereon there, being a beverage cooling coil disposed elsewhere in such water. In order to control the refrigeration system in response to a need for or in response to a sufficiency of ice built up on the evaporator, there is provided a control for doing so which includes a motor-driven impeller that directs a flow of water through a tube extending along a freezing surface on the evaporator, the tube leading to a reservoir in which there is a sensing control responsive to the water level, the reservoir returning water to the bath.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted July 22, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 22, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
