Abstract From the Canadian patent

An antifriction nylon member is provided herein. The member is comprised of from 4 to 10 parts by weight of lubricant from 0.10 to 0.20, parts by weight of a surfactant and the balance nylon. The lubricant is substantially uniformly dispersed throughout the nylon by the surfactant. The lubricant is thus available at the surface which is to be in sliding contact with another component. Such novel nylon member can be used primarily as a bearing member.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted July 8, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 8, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
