Abstract From the Canadian patent

A predecorated printed paper on the gypsum wallboard with a clear washable coating over the printed paper, and having a thin coating of polyethylene emulsion on the back paper which overcomes the tendency of the coating predecorated paper to stick to the back paper of an adjacent board when the boards are piled in stacks for storage and shipment.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted June 17, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended June 17, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
