Abstract From the Canadian patent

A porous lubricant-impregnated bearing comprising a matrix of closely packed, discrete particles such, as glass microsphetes, bonded together with a bonding material, such as a cured organic bonding material that, only partially fills the interstices between the particles; and a migratable lubricant dispersed in the unfilled interstices.
