The invention is concerned with novel 5-aryl-2- (subst.)-carbonyl-hydrazino-2,3-e-thieno-1,4-diaazepines of general formula, (I), In this formula: R1 is a hydrogen, chlorine or bromine atom or an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 is a hydrogen fluorine, chlorine or bromine atom, the nitro or the trifluoromethyl group and R3 is an alkoxy or alkylmercapto group with 1 to 3 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl group with 3 to 6 carbon atoms, a 5- or 6-membered saturated or unsaturated ring comprising an oxygen, a sulfur or a nitrogen atom as the sole heteroatom, whereby a nitrogen-containing ring may optionally be substituted at the nitrogen atom by a lower alkyl group and, in …
