Abstract From the Canadian patent

A retainer and display package mounting a container-dispenser that projects upwardly through a retaining opening in a top wall alongside a transparent cap enclosing a capsule seated on the top wall. The capsule is intended for incorporation in the container-dispenser in use and the, bottom wall must be removed and the cap detached to extract the containerdispenser and capsule for use. The container-dispenser and opening are of such relative dimensions that the container-dispenser cannot be removed through the opening. Preferably the body has upstanding side walls integral with the top wall which is closed except for the retaining opening.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted May 13, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended May 13, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
