A logic family is provided capable of accomplishing a logic function for each transistor used, i.e. one transistor per logic gate. A plurality of logic gate types are shown, each capable of a different logic function. Included is a NOR logic gate which, because of using a single bipolar transistor is relatively smaller and faster operating than other bipolar transistor NOR logic gates. Also included is an AND logic gate which again uses a single bipolar transistor, and further, is non-inverting in operation to thereby provide a relatively smaller and faster operating AND logic gate.

Why it's free to use
- Granted February 26, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended February 26, 1997.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
