Abstract From the Canadian patent

Abstract of the Disclosure A mill for pumping and grinding solid particles in a fluid medium. The particles are circulated by centrifugal forces that result from rotational movement imparted to freely rolling balls or rollers about a powered circular race assembly. The balls or rollers ride along axially spaced shoulders on the ball race assembly. Apertures between the shoulders provide fluid circulation from the area in which the balls or rollers are located to the exterior of the ball race assembly.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted February 26, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended February 26, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
