Abstract From the Canadian patent

A multi-cell silo structure includes an array of vertical reinforced concrete columns. Planar diaphragm panels of either reinforced concrete or steel extend between the columns and define the walls of the cells. The panels are connected to the columns such that vertical loadings on the panels are transmitted laterally to the columns such, loadings thence passing down the columns to the silo foundations.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted January 15, 1980. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 15, 1997.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
